Analytics & Performance Tracking

Track how your published clips perform across YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X — see which moment types and platforms drive the most engagement.

1. Connect your platforms

Go to the Analytics page in your dashboard and connect your social accounts. Punchline supports YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X/Twitter via OAuth. TikTok support is coming soon. Each connection lets punchline automatically sync your post performance data.

2. Track a published clip

After downloading a clip and publishing it on a platform, paste the post URL into the 'Track performance' section on the clip card. Punchline automatically detects which platform the URL belongs to and validates it matches. You'll see a green 'Tracking' indicator once linked.

3. Automatic performance sync

Connected accounts sync performance data automatically. You can also trigger a manual sync from the Analytics page. For platforms without OAuth support, you can import performance data via CSV (up to 500 rows per import).

4. Cross-clip intelligence

The Analytics dashboard shows which moment types perform best across all your tracked clips. See average views, likes, comments, and engagement rates broken down by moment type and by platform — so you know whether your audience prefers Hot Takes on TikTok or Compelling Arguments on LinkedIn.

5. Availability

Analytics and performance tracking is available on Pro, Agency, and Enterprise plans. Connect up to 5 platform accounts and track unlimited posts.
