Open any episode's transcript viewer and select a target language from the dropdown. Punchline translates both the full transcript and all clip hooks and captions simultaneously using AI — not a basic word-for-word translation, but a natural, context-aware rewrite that preserves the speaker's tone.

Punchline supports 20+ languages including Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Arabic, Hindi, Turkish, Polish, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Czech, Romanian, and more. The full list is available in the translation dropdown.

When you generate a clip after translating, captions are rendered in the translated language. A language indicator appears in the generate panel showing which language the captions will use. You can switch between languages at any time using the language bar above the clip plan.

After translating, download the translated transcript as SRT or VTT subtitle files directly from the transcript viewer — generated client-side with no extra API call. Use these for manual editing or importing into other tools.

Translation is available on Pro, Agency, and Enterprise plans. Rate limits apply: 5 translations per minute and 30 per day per user. Translations are cached — repeat requests for the same language don't count against your limits.
